GENERAL TERMS
of the Bangers & Mash Society


1. The concert date will always be fixed after mutual consent with the Principal.

2. The Principal will receive a contract in duplicate in time, of which one copy duely signed at least 14 days before the concert date must be returned to us, as far as time allowes.

3. When the Principal places an option for a certain date, this option remains effective up to 14 days after placing. After this period it expires automatically and neither party will be committed in any way. Placed options will be mentioned in our concert agenda on our website; name and address will not be mentioned.

4. In principle concerts will only take place on friday or saturday evening. Other arrangements however are always negotiable.

5. The performance will always take place between 20:00 and 01:00 hr and a concert covers a maximum of 3 sets of about 45 minutes with breaks in between them of about 15 minutes.

6. We have our own sounds system and PA; it suits crowds of up to about 300 people. Should this be insufficient to the band's or Principal's opinion, than the cost of rental etc of extra or replacing equipment  will be at the Principal's risc and expense.

7. To do a proper concert the band should have a stage of at least 2 x 5 meters. There must also be at least one earthed 230 Volts 16 Amp electricity point available, apart from refridgerators, light dimmers and thermostates. In case of an outdoor concert with moist weather the electricity point must be connected to an earth leakage circuit breaker and the stage must be sheltered.

8. There must be sufficient lighting available at on stage.

9. We always give one clear and fixed price. The price includes the use of our own sound system and PA and our travelling cost. There are no social security fees or VAT due. Settlement of the bill is always done by bank transfer to the Society's bank account before the concert or in  cash right after the concert.

10. The members of the band are entitled to at least 3 beverages per hour at the Principal's expense.

11. Deviating from the above is only possible after mutual consent.

12. These terms prevail over any other or supplemental terms brought up by the Principal or a third party.
